Minnetonka houses sit under a lot of tree cover, and shade plus moisture is hard on exterior finishes. Cedar, stucco, and older painted siding here usually need real prep — washing, drying, scraping back to sound material — before anything new goes on, and we quote that prep as its own line rather than burying it.
